why is the layout appearing to be partially hidden?
see the two attached screen captures - when it loads i have the unwanted results; after adjusting the layout i can make it look correct; however, i want it to load correctly.

I not sure exactly without a demo, probably you init it in a partialy hidden parent, layout adjusts itself according offsetWidth/height of parent.
