Layout 'def' view is blank when setActive

I have 2 views for a particular cell in my layout. The ‘def’ view content is a url. The ‘2nd View’ content is a Tabbar with url content in the tabs.

I can switch to ‘2nd view’ correctly and everything is OK. However when I set ‘def’ view active again it’s contents have disappeared. Even it’s header doesn’t show.

Please can you tell me what I am doing wrong.
