Mainly one for the dhx guys. During one support ticket I had, one of the dhx staff gave me a tip that I could add display:none to the container div that the dhxLayout component was loaded into, to stop some horrible visual effects whilst the page loads.
Unfortunately this then causes an ‘invalid argument’ error in IE8 where it tries to set the width of a table row = to a variable value of -2.
Removing the display:none from the parent div stopped this error in IE8.
