Is the mobile scheduler covered by the Touch licence?
i.e.
“The DHTMLX Touch library is distributed for FREE under both GNU GPL and commercial Licenses. You can use it in your open source or commercial apps at no charge.”
Or does it come under the dhtmlxscheduler license, where there are 3 variations?
i.e.
Open Source, Commercial, Enterprise
I see the component is included in both package downloads, so just wanted to clarify.
The mobile scheduler is covered by the license of dhtmlxScheduler. You can use it for free under GNU GPL v2. To use the mobile scheduler in a non-open source, non-GPLed project, you need to buy a Commercial or Enterprise license for dhtmlxScheduler.
I see the component is included in both package downloads, so just wanted to clarify.
The mobile scheduler is included in the dhtmlxScheduler package only. It doesn’t come with DHTMLX Touch.
“samples => applications =>calendar” is a demo application, not a component of Touch library. It is not documented. License for it is the same as one for Touch library.
Mobile Scheduler that is included in dhtmlxScheduler package is different component. It is customizible and documented. The issues that are discussed in this topic (“Scheduler for Mobile and Touch devices”) relate Mobile Scheduler component.
I don’t suppose there’s a licence option for just the mobile dhtmlxscheduler component on its own is there, or is it a case of having to buy the licence for the full dhtmlxscheduler package?
Unfortunately, there is no option to buy just the mobile version of the scheduler. If you need to use the mobile scheduler in a non-GPLed app, you need to buy the dhtmlxScheduler license.
