loadXMLString in DHTMLX tree object not working in chrome

Hi ,

LoadXMLString() is not working in chrome, but it works in IE. I know it has been deprecated, my concern is do i need to update DHTMLX version? We are using legacy version of DHTMLX below 2.x.

Please confirm if we need to update DHTMLX version and use load() instead to fix issue in chrome?

DHTMLX 1.x is really old, it was released before Google Chrome so code of component are not aware about such browser at all.
It is hard to suggest anything, except of upgrading to latest version.
