Menu, toolbar and tree contents not showing

Hi,

I’m new to DHX and i have been following the provided step by step examples of contact manager and file manager. i Have followed all the steps, in my contact manager project my menu is not displaying its contents as well as my toolbar. In my file manager project the the toolbar is not showing any content or icons and tree is not displaying any folders though i have copied the icons folder in my project folder and copied the code as given.

When my page loads a pop up with the message “Please open sample by http, not as file://” shows up. Im not sure if this is the cause or not. Will appreciate any help

in these sample the data for the components is using with the ajax requests. IN this case it is not available to load it opening the page from a local path. You need to use any kind of web server to load the data into sample.
