Microsoft Project files cannot be opened

Hello there!

We have been using the DHTMLX Gantt plugin for some time, and have previously used the exportToPDF, exportToPNG and exportToExcel methods succesfully.

Recently, we decided to try out the similar exportToMSProject method, but the .mpp file created can never be opened.

Are there any known issues with the feature, or do we need to do extra setup / have our Gantt have certain compulsory data before it will work?

Upon opening the generated file, Microsoft Project states “Project cannot recognize this file format.”

We’ve sorted it now. The problem is that if you give it a ,mpp extension, MS Project isn’t clever enough to work out that it is in XML format!
