Migration from version 5.1.0 to version 6.0.4

Hi,

I’m migrating from version 5.1.0 to version 6.0.4 (the latest version atm), and I noticed some differences: dhtmlx.css is renamed to suite.css and dhtmlx.js is renamed to suite.js.

Also the folders docs, sources and samples have disapeared from the downloaded zip.

Are there other changes? My dhtmlXMenuObject isn’t werking atm. How do I fix this?

Is this already a production version or not? Can you explain what the changes are? Because I can’t find what to change when I want to migrate.

There is this page:

But it only goes to version 5.2 and there’s a link to version 6.0, but there’s no explaination to migrate.

Also the samples don’t work in IE11 (Internet Explorer 11)

Hello.

Unfortunately there is no migration guide from the dhtmlxSuite 5 to dhtmlxSuite 6, as the dhtmlxSuite 6 has a new set of components and a completely new API.

So I have to rewrite all my code if I want to use Dhtmlx 6? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

yes, unfortunately the API of the dhtmlxSuite 6 is not compatible with the dhtmlxSuite 5 API.
