I have an issue were for example I have an event that the start date time is “01/01/2011 22:00” and the end date time is “01/02/2011 01:00” it is displayed as a multi-day, all day event but the event does not take up a full day. how can I change it to display like a normal event in the week and day views?

Event in your example is indeed a multi day one as it takes place on both days and rendered accordingly.
In the upcoming version we will add extension to display such events as usual ones.
