not getting grid fields back w/i form section

Hi,



I’m adding a reference to /dhtmlxGrid/codebase/ext/dhtmlxgrid_form.js



However, I’m not seeing the data come back to the server. I’m logging everything that comes back on the post and the form fields are not there.



Is there anything special that I need to do?



The grid is instanced within the form tags.

Are you sending data back by submit button, or by using form.submit() command?
The extension is purposed for the firs use-case and may fail in the second case.
You can try to use the code as

grid.parentFormOnSubmit(); //will add data from the grid to the form
form.submit();
