The docs mention the event onBeforeFileUpload.

But my event handler is not called when clicking the Upload button, nor is it called after a call to myVault.upload().
Looking in dhtmlxvault.js, there is not a reference to onBeforeFileUpload, so it seems that the docs may be wrong.
