onXLE - problem if user refresh the browser (only Mozilla)

hi,
while tree is loading (xml) and sombody refreshes the browser, a error will be thrown.
it´s normal and i catch the error (dhtmlxError). by IE we have no problems.
but is FireFox in use, the onXLE event will not be loaded, first if the user close the browser and open the application again. dont mater how often he reload the page, he needs to close the browser.

while tree is loading - dhxLayout.progressOn() …
we use the onXLE event for dhxLayout.progressOff().

have somebody any idea, how we can fix this problem?

Hi,

we’ve never heard about such a problem from our customers. This is some kind of browser problem.

You may try to add the random parameter to the url. Possibly it’s solve the issue with browser:

tree.loadXML(url+"?rand="+(new Date()).valueOf());
or
tree.loadXML(url+"&rand="+(new Date()).valueOf());

We don’t have any other ideas…

always use the random function with ajax!
