I have a grid with 28 columns. I want to attach a footer only to columns from 7-28.
Is it possible to have such partial footer?

Nope, the footer can be attached to the whole grid only ( but it possible to created a colspans and assign style to specific cells of footer, so you will be able to combine all not-necessary cells, and assign some specific styling to them to visually separate from other part of footer )
