I am trying to figure out if such functionality can be made to work with dhtmlxgrid. I have a field with an icon right beside it. When the user clicks on this button, it will see a dropdown control but instead of it being a dropdown list, I want to use the grid.
You can init grid inside absolutly positioned container and show|hide it on icon clicking
The grid has not any special functionality for such use-case, but there is no any limitation, which can prevent above scenario.
