Position of Time section

On the scheduler documentation page for “Custom details form” it states

I have created a custom lightbox where the time section is the first section and it seems to work without any problems.

Is there a reason why the time section must be the last?

Will there be any undue side-effects if I continue having my time section as the first section?

If you don’t use recurring events - ordering doesn’t matter.
If you are using recurring events, time section need to be placed below the “recurring” section, or it will save recurring events incorrectly.

Thanks for the info.

I’m not using the recurring events feature, so that means I’m OK to freely position the time section wherever I wish.

Maybe the docs needing updating to state that the position is only relevent if recurring events are in use.
