Could you clarify what’s the problem with your demo? It works well for me.
enableSmartRendering not found.
server have more 50 records, but only return 50.

test enableSmartRendering in my demo, you will see that not found.
You need to include the extra extension ext/dhtmlxgrid_json.js which is part of Pro edition
( if you are using pro suite - it is already a part of dhtmlx.js )
