Can you please let us know why a recurring event created as “Daily” is displaying as “Weekly” when the event is opened in edit mode?

Hello,
This is a default behavior as every work day and weekly with Monday to Friday check boxes checked options are the same thing.
Though we will consider separating them in the upcoming release.
