retaining and using parent/child using createwindow function

How do I redirect a querystring to a parent window in DHTMLX? Is there a parent/child relationship available when a new window in DHTMLX is created? Currently I need to break the iframe of a dhtmlx window to send anything (using response.redirect) to a “parent” window.
