I am using dhtmlXGridv 4.0, when I use the column type as ron, it says eXcell_ron is not defined
mygrid.setColTypes("link,ron,ro);
DO I have o download this eXcell seperately?

You probably mean dhtmlxgrid 1.4 , right? ( latest version is 2.0 )

Such column type is really may not supported in your version of grid.
Updated dhtmlxgridcell.js for dhtmlxgrid 1.4 sent by email, please try to use it instead of original one.
