Sample XML for treegrid

I am confused about the format of the XML string to properly render a tree grid. The documentation does not give an example of XML that contains nested child rows, and the samples load XML from a file but do not provide the files as examples.

Can someone give me a simple example of the XML with nested rows or perhaps just point me to where I can download the XML used in the treegrid samples?
