We have a client using the timeline scheduler on Google Chrome, who has a lot of events(300+) shown at one time which can sometimes lock up the screen for several seconds when moving dates.
When we tested the same clients’ data on Firefox we noticed a substantial improvement.
Is there something that can be done to make it work the same in both browsers?
I tried to reproduce it with the timeline view and 500 events, but the scheduler worked pretty the same in both browsers: https://recordit.co/OfmMy5oe3b
The performance issue could be connected with some specific configurations or additional functionality, and it’s hard to provide some lotion or workaround without clarification, as I wasn’t able to reproduce it on my side.
Could you please provide me instruction on how to reproduce it, or send me a simplified demo, which I will be able to run locally and reproduce the issue?
Or you can reproduce it in our demo tool(open the link => reproduce the issue in HTML/CODE tabs => click the share button => send me the new link): http://snippet.dhtmlx.com/5/22ca0d463
