Hi,
I am facing issue with IE8 browser while using the dhtmlx window component.
Whenever i open the dhtmlxWindow object in IE8 with a size larger than the window available space, i dont get the scroll bar to scroll to the end of the window.
With previous versions of IE, a scrollbar used to come on right side and user could scroll the window using either the scrollbar OR by the mouse scroll button.
But in IE8, user is not able to scroll the page by any of the two ways.
Also, found some minor rendering issues with dhtmlxGrid component.
Could you please verify this scroll bar issue once & could provide me some fix for that?
Thanks,
Vibhav Agrawal
Note: I am working on DHTMLX Pro v2.5 (DhtmlxSuite 2009 Rel.2 DHTMLX 2.5).
Hello,
I’ve checked dhxWins.createWindow(id, 0, 0,2000,2000); in IE8 - both scrolls appear. The latest windows version attached.
dhtmlxwindows.zip (18.2 KB)
Hi Alexandra,
I think the file you have attached with your reply is the in-progress file of dhtmlx team & is not in the latest released version. When i try to use this file, it gives error about the i18n variables as my other files, like container, common, layout etc are v2.5 files & they are not having those i18n approach defined for the alerts.
If required, i can provide you a sample for this scenario along with the screenshots in IE7 & IE8 indicating this issue with the latest version of dhtmlx js files, ie, dhtmlxSuite 2009 Rel.2 dhtmlx 2.5 (build 090904).
Thanks,
