Did I miss something or wasn’t this plug in supposed to feature copy-paste from an existing Excel spreadsheet? No problem exporting but without the “pasting IN” feature it leaves a lot of Input work for large tables. Anyone figure out how to do this?
Hi,
could you provide link to your spreadsheet?
If user has access rights to edit spreadsheet then copy-paste should work correctly.
I have a similar problem, I can only cut and paste individual cells, not rows or columns.
Actually only want to be able to this in Spreadsheet if I could this with Excel it would be a workaround.
Just want to be able to cut & paste multiple rows within Spreadsheet.
cheers Shaun
Hi,
Do you have ability to select a block of cells?
Does any JavaScript error occur when you select a block of cells and press Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V?
Hi yes I can highlight multiple cells i.e. a row and copy it.
When I paste all the data ends up in one cell.
If I highlight multiple cells when pasting then nothing happens.
No obvious Javascript errors.

Hi,
could you provide link to your spreadsheet?
Hi,
could you specify some more details?
Which browser do you use?
Could you describe step by step, how do you try to insert several rows (for example: open excel, select block of area, open spreadsheet, select block of cells A4:C12, etc)?
Provided link works correctly for me. I use Google Chrome and can paste in spreadsheet several rows copied from Excel.
Using Google Chrome & Firefox on an Apple Mac
Select 5 rows and 7 columns in Excel, then press Ctrl C
Open Spreadsheet, highlight 5 rows and 7 columns then press Ctrl V
This has worked on one or twice just not consistently

There is an updated version of spreadsheet which must fix the above behavior
