Timeline view - dynamic row height - possible?

On this page…

docs.dhtmlx.com/doku.php?id=dhtm … r:timeline

…there are images of timeline view. All images are showing rows that have equal heights.

Can the scheduler control dynamically size the height of rows so that they just fit their contents? For example, in the first image on the link above, this would mean that the row height for David Miller (1 event) would be less than the row height for James Smith (who has 3 overlapping events). Is this possible?

Hello,

In the updated version it is possible to enable fit_events options (actually enabled by default) which will make sections larger to fit all events in there. Right now it’s possible to control only minimum height of the section.

With updated version you can set height to fit just one event and enable fit_events options to get your desired view.

Ilya

Hi,

Thanks…is the updated version v2.3? Or is it a version not yet released?

Hello,

This is the latest dev version. Does fit_events option work correctly for you?
