our requirement is not to show the dhtmlx editor toolbar in view mode…
when the user clicks the edit button then the toolbar should be displayed, and when click on cancel button again the toolbar should not be displayed…
here the problem is…
the space between the above fields should not differ from view mode to edit mode .
we had hidden the editor toolbar items and changed editor inputtop to remove extra space between above fields, then the editor toolbar div (like in 3rd image) is overlapping above fields…

we had used foreachItem of toolbar api to hide all the items in view mode, is there any single shot work to do it?

so can you help me to dynamically change the toolbar of the editor (in view mode editor with no toolbar and in edit mode editor with toolbar ) without extra space from above fields…
we are using licensed dhtmlx version 4.1.2
