After installing and then deactivating, it still leaves the scheduler frame on the pages. Unable to figure out where the code is hidden.

Scheduler itself doesn’t use frames, actually. So it may be result of some other plugin|component.
In case of WP - you can delete the scheduler’s page from admin part of blog.
