In a form, when we set the options of a combobox out of the initial configuration, updating the control always clear the options.
Instructions to reproduce:
1 - Display the combobox options. They will appear normally.
2 - Press the Update button. (To update the width of the control)
3 - Display the combobox options once again. No options will be showed

We have fixed your reported problem in the latest dhx.Suite update (v7.3.11).
You can check it in your original snippet.
Now the combo updating does not resets the loaded options.
Please, try to download the latest available dhx.Suite build to get that fix.
