Using proxy for offline without TouchUI

I have an existing application with DHTML pro v3.5 and I want to implement the proxy for offline working so everything will also work with an iPad when internet connection fails.

Is it possible to use the proxy/offline part with the default grids and default connector/dataprocessor?

Unfortunately the proxy functionality is not supported.
