may I know how to decrease the delay

Probably, the issue is related to the Gantt configuration, but it is hard to suggest what might be wrong as I don’t see your code.

I cannot share my code due to company policy but the version I use is 7.1 pro in dhtmlx-gantt and angular version 8 it would be better if we could connect over a call

Hello Catherine,
It is not necessary to share the exact code of your project. The only thing I need is to reproduce the issue locally.
So, you can try to copy the Gantt configuration to the snippet and remove/obfuscate any important data (like column names or styles). If the issue is reproduced there, you can share the link.
Another way is to create a new Angular project, copy the Gantt configuration there and try to reproduce the issue. This won’t be a code of the original project, so, you will be able to share it.

If you have the active license, you can submit a support request via email and attach a link to the demo project/snippet. Usually, we don’t do screen-sharing sessions and calls, and our technical support is limited to email support only.
