WordPress: Set default date in Year view

Hi there!

I am creating a calendar for 2015 using the year view. How can I set the calendar to start from 1st January 2015 by default? Right now, the default date is current date so the 2013 calendar is shown.

Believe it or not, I have been battling this issue for several hours now without any solution, so any help will be greatly appreciated.

I’m using version 3.0 of the WordPress plugin.

I have managed to solve the last issue. But now have another problem

My url has the following format on the home page:
joblinker.info/calendar/#date=20 … ,mode=year

How can I remove the last portion of the url “#date=2013-12-11,mode=year” ?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!
